Former professional cyclist, Andy Schleck, welcomed us to his shops, where we had an exciting talk about his sporting career and his successful transition to business. A perfect opportunity to cycle the wonderful banks of the Moselle in Luxembourg with the winner of the 2010 Tour de France. We spoke with a focused entrepreneur who throws himself into everything he does.
I spent my whole career with BIL. So when I opened the shops, I spoke to BIL first. They were the ones who helped make this little dream come true.
Andy Schleck Cycles opened its doors in Itzig in 2016. The shop offers racing bikes, mountain bikes, electric bikes, hybrid bikes and trekking bikes, together with a wide range of accessories. The shop also provides access to a café area and a museum displaying memorabilia from the cycling champion’s career. A second shop was opened in 2022 in Mertert, on the banks of the Moselle, on the border with Germany.
