Nearly 10 years after his first exhibition at Banque Internationale à Luxembourg, Christian Pearson, an artist who goes by the name of SUMO, returns to the bank’s Galerie Indépendance with a new immersive exhibition: Enter the Sumoverse.

SUMO takes you on a journey through time and space, with pieces that are typical of his work over the past decade.

Involving many colours, coats of paint, bubbles, clouds, inspiring messages and, of course, the iconic Crazy Baldhead, his creations are easily recognisable and the artist is now known all over the world.

The Enter the Sumoverse exhibition presents a new form of expression with a new video feature and the possibility of discovering his paintings in a different way by wearing 3D glasses.

Every little detail is a work in itself, and each piece is part of a bigger collection. This genuinely immersive experience carries you along from one painting to the next as you zoom to infinity!

SUMO made his name in Luxembourg, then abroad, with graffiti and street art in the 1990s, which was when he created his signature character: Crazy Baldhead. He now works mostly on canvas and exhibits all year long at Galerie 1:1 in Luxembourg.
