2025 saw the launch of the first \u201cBuilding Tomorrow Together\u201d call for projects by BIL, with the aim of supporting local initiatives that reflected the Bank\u2019s values and had a tangible impact within Luxembourg.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

In this report, we meet co-labor\u2019s managing director, Max Holz, and Catherine Wurth, co-director.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

co-labor<\/u><\/strong><\/u><\/strong><\/u><\/strong><\/h2>\n\n\n\n

co-labor is active in the social and solidarity economy. Its main purpose is to provide mentorship, training and the reintegration of jobless people into work and the community.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Its teams are involved in the production and distribution of organic food. They also offer gardening services, landscaping and the maintenance of natural habitats, with a particular focus on the environment and sustainable development.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

co-labor is active in the social and solidarity economy, and from the very outset has had a clear vision: to get unemployed people back into work and included socially and professionally, and to devise practical initiatives in the areas of sustainable food and the natural environment.<\/strong><\/strong><\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

As part of the development of its biodiversity awareness centre, comprising the Ga\u00efa instructional garden and an educational pavilion, co-labor also offers a wide range of activities focusing on nature, ecology and sustainable food. Designed as somewhere ideal for discussion and learning, these spaces can host any kind of occasion, whether for school parties, families or corporate events.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The assistance given by BIL has allowed us to complete the work on insulation and refurbishment of the pavilion, as well as the construction of an outdoor kitchen in the Ga\u00efa instructional garden. Throughout the year, these spaces host activities for young and old alike, in a natural, peaceful and re-energising setting.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n\n\n\n

The financial support provided to local players is part of BIL\u2019s general sponsorship policy, which aims to support initiatives with a meaningful impact on Luxembourg society. BIL\u2019s commitments in the fields of education, entrepreneurship, culture and sport are testament to the bank\u2019s desire to play its part in driving the country\u2019s dynamic spirit.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
